About Me

My photo
I am a momma of 6 :) I have one grand-daughter who is 2 and a half and one who is 9 months!!...my youngest son is 6 months younger than the older one and 1 year older than the baby :) We homeschool and we are always on the go! I like to joke and say we are "addicted to chaos"! Long story short - we are parents of kiddos every age imaginable (almost) and like everyone else...We're learning as we go along! Thank the Lord...He's forgiving and LOVING - 'cause we're truly undeserving of all the wonderful gifts He's given to us!

  2. Okay - my goal was to find something to do each weekend with my kiddos that would be fun and CHEAP :)
So far we are cutting out paper snowflakes
    http://www.daves-snowflakes.com/
has free sample snowflake patterns - these are SO beautiful! (we hang them from fishing line from the ceiling in the dining room!! it looks like it's snowing!! - hey we're from Florida these things impress us :)
We are cutting out stars (that pattern was on Martha Stewarts site) and painting them with glitter paint - then we're gonna string them up like garland...

  3. we are going to make "christmas crackers" (the kind that look like little presents...filled with a pc. of candy and a tiny toy. We're gonna put a "love note" inside each one - (instead of a "fortune") - you make these out of paper towel tubes and crepe paper! (CHEAP!!YAY!!)
Oh...and we are going to take stick candy canes and dip the ends into melted white chocolate and then sprinkle candy sprinkles on them - put them into plastic baggies and use them for small gifts (coffee stirrers!! YUM-O!)
    Okay...I'll keep you updated :)
